About the program!
Through support of community members and businesses, the Live Entertainment Assistance Program (L.E.A.P) provides free* access to local live entertainment for lower income families/individuals who qualify. Sponsorship funds are used to purchase tickets to local live events and through an application processes, families and/or individuals apply for an event.
Criteria for Applicants:
- Household income less than $60,000/year or Individual sole-income of less than $40,000/year.
- 18 years of age or older.
Conditions:
- Maximum 2 adult tickets per household
- Maximum 2 senior (65+) per household
- Unlimited youth tickets/household with proof of guardianship
- Must be from an approved** local event

*Free is a term used that means there is no direct cost to the successful applicant for the purchasing of tickets. Transactional costs are between Jeffrey Wright Music and the event organization and the Live Entertainment Assistance Program is only responsible for the purchasing of the tickets. The applicant is responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the event. Regardless of meeting the required criteria and conditions, applying to the Live Entertainment Assistance Program (L.E.A.P) does not guarantee acceptance into the program. An applicant may continue to apply for other/future events though they were declined previously. Access to L.E.A.P is determined by Jeffrey Wright Music as well as other conditions such as: Total funds available for ticket purchases, and ticket availability. The deadline for an application is 5 business days prior to the specific event.*

What Shows are Approved?
Participating Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Local organizations are approved by Jeffrey Wright Music. Choose any one show/event through participating organizations listed below on the application form.

*Tickets cannot be resold or given away. If the applicant cannot attend or is unable to attend the ticketed event, the tickets must be returned to Jeffrey Wright Music prior to event date. Tickets are awarded according to specific criteria. Selling tickets or giving them away will result in an invoice issued in full to the applicant and disqualified from any future applications. Please return any physical tickets or notify Jeffrey Wright Music prior to the event of your absence. This is to ensure everyone can benefit from the program.

The Live Entertainment Assistance Program L.E.A.P is a service provided and owned by Jeffrey Wright Music to help bring live entertainment to everyone with your help. The program assists those with lower incomes who would otherwise not have the chance/ability to attend ticketed local events. Through support of the community and other local businesses, LEAP fosters culture, builds communities, and supports local businesses. Any costs associated with the program are to help maintain the program.
Helping Our Community
LEAP is a program that is by the community for the community. By sponsors and donors, LEAP uses the proceeds to cover ticket costs to local and ticketed live entertainment events.
This benefits more than just the successful recipient of the tickets. Through the sponsorship and the appropriate sponsor package, local businesses and people can get recognition for their support. By selling more tickets to events, the entertainment organization is able to make more profits to help fund their future projects.
