The Highwaymen Live Forever written and produced by Jeffrey Wright is a theatrical tribute show to The Highwaymen: Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson. The show boast an amazing cast and crew from the Algoma region.

Jeffrey Wright is a musician, singer, songwriter, author, artist, and the founder of LEAP. He is a devoted husband and father of two. Classic country has always held a special place in his life. Growing up, his family would spend hours playing music together, learning classics by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, John Denver, Willie Nelson, and more. This lifelong passion led to the creation of the successful show Hurt: A Tribute to the Legend Johnny Cash, as well as the upcoming production The Highwaymen: Live Forever.

Jaime Jacques is a graduate of the Sault College and Lakehead University Forestry programs and holds numerous professional certificates, including a designation as a Registered Professional Forester. Jaime has been playing drums for 15 years, and has written, composed and recorded music featured on CBC Radio programming. When Jaime is not working in the woods or spending time with his wife Sarah, you may find him restoring vintage drums and providing drums for several local bands around town.

Adam Fahrer is a graduate of Sault College in Computer Programming and Algoma University with a degree in Computer Science. Adam works as a software developer based in Sault Ste. Marie. He has been performing locally since 2018 and possesses 13 years of experience on the guitar. He continuously pursues his passion for music, blending his technical expertise with creative expression. Outside of work and music, he enjoys hitting the slopes and spending time with his family.

Harley Syrette has been playing bass for over two decades and has performed in numerous local bands. Always looking to expand his horizons, he is excited to contribute to this unique production alongside the many talented artists involved. Harley is a registered member of Batchewana First Nation and a community member of Thessalon First Nation. He is a dedicated family man, proudly raising two children with his fiancée.

Bill Priddle is a musician, songwriter, and producer. As a founding member of Treble Charger, Priddle has received multiple Juno nominations and holds gold and platinum records, including a gold record for his contributions to Broken Social Scene’s You Forgot It in People. He has produced music for local Sault Ste. Marie acts including Handsome Sandwich, Charlie Elder, and Northwest. Priddle’s song Red was named one of the 10 best Canadian songs by Chart Attack magazine.

Greg Callaghan has been playing music in Sault Ste. Marie for almost two decades. As a solo artist and part of the duo Greg & Yak, he uses his acoustic guitar and baritone voice to cover a wide range of artists and genres. Greg is the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist in The Northwest, a local rock quintet that has shared the stage with bands such as Gob, Marianna’s Trench, The Trews, Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul, and more. The Northwest’s latest EP, All In, was co-produced by fellow cast member and Canadian music veteran Bill Priddle. All In featured tracks on CBC Radio and Hockey Night in Canada. You can find Greg hosting Open Mic Night at Coch’s Corner on Wednesday nights—a platform that welcomes musicians of all skill levels.

Ryan St. Pierre – Born and raised in Steel City, Ryan is a concrete finisher by day, helping build the community one sidewalk and curb at a time. He even took part in insulating everyone’s favorite music store, Long & McQuade. A dedicated musician and avid gamer by night, Ryan enjoys challenging himself with new musical projects—both collaboratively and as a solo artist. He is passionate about writing music and pushing his skills across various genres. When not headfirst in the deep end of practice or the daily grind, you’ll find him in the kitchen whipping up a batch of his famous pasta sauce, spending time with family and his dog… or not at all—somewhere off the grid with a rod and reel in hand.

Todd Kidd is a lifelong musician whose passion for music spans many genres and instruments, making him a dynamic addition to The Highwaymen: Live Forever Tribute. With extensive experience in marching bands, blues groups, and progressive metal projects, his journey reflects a relentless drive to explore sound. Todd has co-written and released two albums with his groups King Misfit and 8ight Past Nine. When he's not performing, you’ll find Todd in his home studio, writing and tracking original music with the same fervor he brings to live shows.

Hayden Jackson started his career in Community Theatre while in Highschool with Shot in the Dark Productions before being brought on as Technical Lead for Fringe North Festival. Since then he has went on to get his diploma at Humber College for Theatre Arts - Production. His focus on Sound and Lighting. You can find him now back in the community providing his knowledge and experience in various aspects of theatre and live events. He brings a passion for quality as our sound technician for Hurt among other projects.

George Wright (Older Johnny Cash) began his musical career in a 2 piece band playing clubs on the weekends. He realized he wanted more and soon had a 4 piece band playing clubs, weddings and parties. He continued his musical journey by doing television, radio and recording and in 1983 hit the road with his band Buckshot. He also toured with the Road Fever band until he came home and played locally. George now plays engagements with his son and granddaughter and some single shows. He has enjoyed a very fulfilling career and continues to enjoy his music.

Meggy Lee (June Carter/Cash) is a country/folk singer, songwriter. She grew up singing in church and found her passion for performing through participating in various theatre productions in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. In high school, she learned to play guitar and was a lead singer in two different bands. Meggy is now a single mom of two, returning to performing after about 6 years offstage, and writing her own songs for the first time. She is working to build a career from her passions of making music, fostering connection and community, and keeping old tunes alive.
